- It happened. SEVENTY-EIGHT new, full, commentated matches up in the
Media Section. Just about every good match
from 2007 to 2009. And we're not even done yet. We still have the 7/5/09 (10th
Annual Canada Day Massacre) and 7/26/09 (Last VCW Show) FULL shows to be put up.
Expect those in the coming days/weeks. But we figure nearly doubling our current
full match catalogue should keep you busy for at least a little while.
- Expect the first in a series of 3 or 4 steadily released ISUXDIX episodes
coming next week, culminating in our second PPV, to be taped soon.
- Haven't mentioned it on the site yet, probably should have. ISUXDIX is hosting
its first ever supershows. And yes, that is supershowS with an S. We're trying
the first ever back-to-back weekend supershows. We will be running the weekend
of April 16/17, as well as the weekend of April 23/24. It's gonna be a good
time. We currently have a carload of Californians committed, a planeload of
AUSTRALIANS, and a few others. Crazy. We're hoping for a few more additions come
gametime.

- Sorry for the delay, folks. Apparently February sucks. Just one show filmed
(and now uploaded in the Media Section). But
we hope to make up for that in the month of March, and into April, as we tape 4
straight weeks starting this weekend, so expect more consistent ISUXDIX media
output in the coming weeks. Let's take a quick look at the most recent show.
Show 9 was, for various reasons, a bonus episode. It was to be an extra,
stand-alone episode to come before the big show with Special K/PSYCH for
the title and the Henson/Chester Hair vs. Mask Match. However, this stand-alone
episode, which was promised to be non-canon, ended up having ramifications on
the overall direction of things. Special K showed up in Daniel Makabe's office,
not knowing this was a bonus episode, and convinced Makabe that the first
Champion Uv Men: Fighting And Grappling title defense should have more build-up
and hype than the one show it was given. Makabe eventually agreed and saw
Special K's point, so it may be longer until we see that first title defense.
PSYCH then showed up, expecting his title shot, which of course has now been
postponed, and upon being informed of this (as well as the fact that Special K
has already left) by Daniel Makabe, threw a fit and left himself. The first
match was Zeus McFly vs. Chris Mason, stemming from Mason's win over McFly in
the 3 Way last show. Things finally came together for McFly and he got his first
major win in ISUXDIX, defeating Mason with an Abdominizer into a Camel Clutch.
Next up was Scott Henson taking on Dr. Unk, after a several week absence for Unk.
In perhaps the biggest win of his career, Unk upset Henson by cutting back on a
small package after Henson reversed out of Unk's Dr. Bomb. But perhaps the even
bigger story than Henson's loss, which he was NONE too pleased about, came
before the match, when Daniel Makabe joined Henson in the ring, carrying a
mysterious box. Makabe said that it had arrived for Henson with Chester A. Tabby
as the return addressee. Henson demanded to know what was in the box, but Makabe
had no idea. Henson, allowing curiosity to get the better of him, went to open
the box, when he was stopped by tag partner Yakuza J, who warned him that he
probably doesn't want to know what was in the box. This led to an argument
between the two, finally resulting in Henson throwing caution to the wind and
opening the box, finding inside Chester's mask, This in turn led Henson to
accuse Daniel Makabe, the bearer of Chester's gift, that he himself was Chester,
which Makabe vehemently denied. That looked to be all for the show, as Makabe
was locking the building up for the night, when BXCW member Cole Crazy stumbled
upon him, arriving (very) late to the show. Makabe didn't have anything for
Crazy, who pleaded with Makabe explaining his treacherous drive up from
Washington through the snow. Makabe had a last-ditch idea for crazy, as he
re-opened the building and asked Zeus McFly (who he locks in there every night
for everyone's safety) if he'd like a second match. McFly was more than game,
and the impromptu main event was on. Despite an excellent effort from Crazy,
Zeus McFly, perhaps fueled by his earlier win, got his second win of the night,
defeating Crazy with his rolling bow-and-arrow backbreaker off the top (the
Rhode Island Ruiner) and holding on the bow-and-arrow for the submission
victory.
- You know all that full match media we promised. It's coming. DANGEROUSLY soon.
We have one, count it, ONE match left to commentate, and then all 90+ matches
will be uploaded and you WON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH YOURSELF.
