- Two double shots to report on in the past two weeks. Lots went down, but it's
4 in the morning, so don't expect much to actually be reported. Some of the big
news includes Special K as the newest full-time member of the roster, who we're
happy to have aboard, and some stuff involving Yakuza J. He made his return from
the 6 week disabled list to face Big Al on 8/20/05, with the stipulation that he
would receive a Triple Crown shot against Ruckus the next day if he won. Yakuza
looked to re-injure his knee during the match, but was able to cut right to the
chase and put Al away with a sick Northern Lights Bomb onto an open chair. The
next day, however, Yakuza was ruled unable to compete, and Canadian Champion
Jacob Myles claimed the Triple Crown shot instead. After Ruckus won the match
with a Code Ruck, Yakuza ran in and beat down Ruckus, finishing with another
Northern Lights Bomb onto an open chair, making a nasty cut on Ruckus's arm.
Yakuza then stole the Triple Crown belt and hopped on a plane to New York.
MOTHERFUCKER!

- We best make with the updates, lest we fall behind again. Two shows to report
on. The first was on 7/31/05, highlighted by Ruckus taking on Daniel Makabe in a
non-title match. After an insane Trapper Keeper from the apron to the floor, the
count was nearing twenty, and as Ruckus was about to get back into the ring,
Makabe yanked him to the floor, dove into the ring at 19, and got the countout
win. And with that victory (cheap though it may be), he may well have earned
himself a Triple Crown shot against Ruckus down the line. Another highlight was
Scott Henson becoming frustrated in his match with Zeus and trying to kick him
until he was dead (and almost succeeding). The next show was this past Sunday,
August 7. With Scott Henson taking time off after his debacle with McFly, Daniel
Makabe was left in charge, and dubbed the show "Daniel Makabe's Magical Mystery
Tour," and delivered on it. In his match with Nick Price, after a ton of offense
by Makabe (most of which were maneuvers stolen from Ruckus), he had the match
won after Nick Price gave up, but decided he wasn't done, and gave Price a
Moonsault Fallaway Slam from the second rope. This earned him a DQ from the
referee, giving Nick the win. Makabe wasn't done yet, though. After Ruckus
successfully defended the Triple Crown against PSYCH in the main event, Makabe
ran in and attacked Ruckus, obviously wanting to claim the title shot that he
believes he deserves sooner rather than later.
- We probably should have publicized it here earlier, but the full, edited 6th
Annual Canada Day Massacre from 7/1/05 is up in the Multimedia section.
Definitely one of our best shows ever, and it came out great as a full online
show.
