- Another Supershow come and gone. I believe that makes it 14 now. Wow. That's a lot. This was the last show ever at this location of the Wrestleplex, so the supershow was aptly named "LAST SHOW EVAR (until next week)." Anyway, opening the show was a rematch from last week, pitting Zeus McFly against Dallas Kline in an ASW vs. VBW encounter. Zeus got payback for his loss last week, and got the win with his new finisher, the Purple People Eater, which is the really crazy fucked-up move that Jay Lethal/Hydro does (Cradle Electric Chair Powerslam?). Next, to officially open the show, VCW Triple Crown Champion "Hot Shit" Scott Henson drove his pimped-out Toyota RAV4 right into the Wrestleplex. Henson stepped out of the PUV (Pussy Utility Vehicle), decked out in a Gold Ribera's Jacket~! and Patent Leather Boots~! Truly a sight to behold. Next up was scheduled to be Jason Drake going for an unprecedented 10th defense of the VCW Canadian Title against Lenny D. Unfortunately, Lenny D was still held up in Osoyoos, so a replacement was needed. And boy, did we find one: Juggalo~! (plus about 40 pounds) made his triumphant return to VCW after over a year to take on Drake in a non-title affair. Drake was able to fight off Juggalo's Mark Henry-esque offense and got the duke with an impressive long-distance Frog Splash off the top. Our third match of the evening was something of a rubber match between "Insane" Shane Mondo and Peter Piscopo. Mondo pinned Piscopo in a three way dance two weeks ago, and Piscopo got his first VCW victory against Mondo last week in a singles match. On the VCW Message Board, Mondo challenged Piscopo to a Falls-Count-Anywhere-in-the-Province-of-British-Columbia Match, and it was promptly signed. These two brawled all over the Wrestleplex. We had neckbreakers in the unpadded kickboxing ring, light tube shots, sporks (yes, sporks) to the nuts, and even a Donkey Punch on top of a dumpster! Peter thought he had the win after a suplex through a thumbtack-covered board, but apparently Mondo barely kicked out at the last possible instant. Shortly thereafter, Mondo hit Piscopo with the Pain Thriller, and that was all she wrote. This feud may not be over, though, due to the somewhat controversial ending. Next was another rematch: Daniel Makabe vs. Psychotic Kid. You all the story of this feud by now: Makabe & Scott Henson beat Psychotic Kid & Chris Mason in a tag match, Psychotic Kid says he could beat Makabe one-on-one without all the double-teaming, PK loses a hard-fought match against Makabe last week, but asks for one more shot to prove himself. And that brings us to tonight. Just another great match between these two. Both guys were on, starting with some nice back-and-forth chain wrestling. As the match progressed, they kicked into the bigger moves. Makabe hit a picture-perfect Triangle Enzuigiri on Kid, and followed it up with an equally great Springboard Dropkick. PK fired back with a VOLUPTUOUS Reverse Huracanrana. Insane. Also, somewhere in there, PK did an apron-to-floor Thesz Press and absolutely bounced Makabe's head off the concrete floor, leaving a large bump. In the end, PK hit the Merry Melodies (Superkick) and went to finish things off with the Psycho Driver 2. Makabe flipped out of this, and nailed the 19 Years Old (Cradle Tombstone), which got him the win last week. Instead of going for the pin, Makabe went up top to seal the deal with his Top-rope Senton. Kid was able to get to his feet, though, and scrambled up top to stop Makabe. Makabe threw him down to the mat, but PK was relentless and came right back up top. This happened two more times until Kid was finally able to get some shots in on Makabe on the top, and then KILLED HIM DEAD with a Jericho Spike (Both-standing-on-top Huracanrana). So Kid was able to get the win and prove himself to be a top player in VCW. Then we had the main: Scott Henson looking for him 8th successful defense (and promising to drink a V8 if he won) of the Triple Crown against Chris Mason. A little backstory on what led to this match: on 5/17/03 ("Navigation with Breeze"), Henson took on Chris Mason in a non-title match. After 15 gruelling minutes, Mason was able to get the win with two Red Star Presses and a Red Star Senton. This was the first time Mason had pinned Henson in some time, and surely earned him a title shot. They actually met the next show, 5/28/03 ("Humpday"), as part of the Round Robin Tournament, with Henson agreeing to put the title on the line. However, the match had a 10-Minute Time Limit, and, expectedly, neither man was able to put the other away in that amount of time and it went to a draw (and thus Henson retained). Mason received his real title shot on 7/2/03 ("Déli-Cinq"), with a much longer time limit of 60 minutes. Going 18 minutes this time, Henson was able to come through when it counted, and won with two rolling Tiger Driver '98's into a Colt .45. On 8/23/03 ("Contractual Obligation Show"), Mason won a Three Way Dance with Jason Drake & Psychotic Kid for #1 Contendership for the Triple Crown, so once again Mason would have his shot. And here we are now on 9/28/03. The two started the match with Henson overpowering Mason in the tie-ups. Mason fired back though, going for some quick pins (which is a smart move, considering Henson's size advantage), and even hitting a very nice Tope Con Hilo early on. For the majority of the match, it was Henson trying to put Mason away with his arsenal of power moves and Mason trying his damnedest to just get Henson down for the 3, with various quick moves, flying, and even the occasional power move of his own. In Mason's first venture to the top, he was going to go for a moonsault, but saw that Henson had moved, so he was able to backflip onto his feet. Despite this, Henson came running in and killified Mason with a CRITICAL! Lariat. Mason was able to fight out, though, and in his next top-rope endeavour, went for a Phoenix Splash (which he does incredibly well now), but again Henson moved. Third time was the charm for Mason, as he connected with full impact with a Shooting Star Press on Henson. Everyone thought it was over and we had a new champion, but somehow Henson had it in him to kick out. In one other "it must be over" moment, Henson reversed Mason's attempt at a Top-rope Rana into a Top-rope DVD. Henson didn't even go for the pin; he picked him and hit another CRITICAL! Again, Mason gets his shoulder about an inch off the mat as the ref's hand is coming down for the three. Soon after, Henson just becomes a dick and hits repeated (like, 10+) soccer kicks to Mason's back. This does nothing but absolutely piss Mason off. Mason fired back with a huge flurry of strikes, and he capped it off by nailing a Ki Krusher on his 70-pounds-heavier adversary. Mason went up top one last time and went for an INSANE Shooting Star Senton. He narrowly missed Henson, though, and Henson tried to seize the opportunity. Mason took him right back down, though, and hit three consecutive Shooting Star Presses (going for the pin each time), and got the biggest win of his life on the third try, just past the 21 minute mark. Chris Mason ended "Hot Shit" Scott Henson's nearly 9 month long title reign as VCW Triple Crown Champion, one of VCW's longest reigns ever (and certainly the longest of the post-trampoline days). Mason is also the first Junior Heavyweight (by VCW standards) to win the Triple Crown. Kudos, kid. You earned. it. In closing, sorry for writing so much. Props if you read it all.
- So that's it for this supershow (and the Wrestleplex). We'll hopefully be back next Sunday at the new Wrestleplex location. If not, we'll do a show at VCW's
Aubrey Gardens sometime next weekend.
- Expect the full matches of Henson/Mason, and both Makabe/Psychotic Kid matches to be up (with commentary) tomorrow night.
- New bios have been added for the OCW members we did a talent exchange with this summer, as well as the current VBW Army that is wrestling in VCW. So expect more variety in the little picture-dealy at the top of the page.

- A few last-minute things:
ONE: The ring has not moved yet, so Sunday's show will be the LAST EVAR~! at this Wrestleplex. So let's make it a good one.
TWO: The "Insane" Shane Mondo vs. Peter Piscopo match has just been made a Falls-Count-Anywhere-in-the-Province-of-British-Columbia Match.
THREE: Dallas Kline vs. Zeus McFly has been signed as a rematch from last week. There may be one more VBW match on the card as well, depending on people's availability.

<9/26/03 @ 1:25 AM PST>

- Our pro ring will be moving this weekend. The location of the ASW Wrestleplex is moving from 135th St. & 108th Ave. in Surrey to 133rd St. & 72nd Ave. Providing the ring is set up in its new location on Sunday, we will run our supershow as scheduled. The card looks a-like a-this:
-- "Hot Shit" Scott Henson (c) vs. Chris Mason - VCW Triple Crown Title Match
-- Jason Drake (c) vs. Lenny D - VCW Canadian Title Match
-- Daniel Makabe vs. Psychotic Kid
-- "Insane" Shane Mondo vs. Peter Piscopo
There may also be some VBW folks on the show, but we don't know who exactly. We'll figger it out.

<9/25/03 @ 2:09 AM PST>

- New Full Match is up in the Multimedia Section. It is the tag match that took place on 8/28/03 that stemmed from the VCW Home Invasion (also in the Multimedia Section). It is Chris Mason & Psychotic Kid vs. "Hot Shit" Scott Henson & Daniel Makabe. Check 'er out.

<9/22/03 @ 1:36 AM PST>

- Had another Wrestleplex show for the second straight week. More people this week, though, so it was quite the nice card. However, the scheduled main event, Backyard Milita vs. Henson/Drake, still was unable to happen, as Mason and Lenny D are still in Osoyoos. This didn't stop Henson and Drake from teaming, though. In fact, spurred on from their victory against Ruckus and Scott Idol from last week, Henson & Drake challenged VBW's Foul Play (Ruckus and Drake Dredd) for the VBW Tag Team Titles, which is the first time a VBW title has been defended on a VCW show. Henson and Drake, VCW's two singles champions, were unable to repeat last week's success, as Henson fell prey to Foul Play's new move, a combination suplex and over-shoulder powerslam (they may have a special name for it, but it is unknown at this time). Next up was a VBW vs. ASW match, as "The Nice Guy" Dallas Kline took on Zeus McFly. Dallas got the duke with the Hyper Kill-quick Combination '99 (Shincrusher to Dragon Screw to Indian Deathlock to Sickle Hold). Next up, Peter Piscopo, who, by all rights, shouldn't even be at VCW shows, came and asked Scott Henson what his match tonight was. Henson explained that Peter isn't a VCW wrestler and that he should, y'know, leave. Peter persisted, and Henson reluctantly gave him a match... against the biggest guy at the show, "Insane" Shane Mondo. Henson said that if Peter won, he could stick around VCW and annoy him every week, but if he lost he would finally have to leave Henson alone. The larger Mondo dominated the match, but Piscopo fought back, even hitting a nice Fallaway Slam on the 240+ pounder. Somehow, some way, Peter got the win with, of all things, the Big Leg Drop, so he's now a VCW wrestler, much to Henson's dismay. Post-match, Mondo nailed Peter with a Pain Thriller, and then Henson came in, and he and Mondo dropped Peter with the HIGH TIMES~! Next was Scott Idol making his singles debut (after a tag loss last week) against Dallas Kline. Kline managed to go 2-0 on the night, picking up the win with a Jacknife Powerbomb (the bridging Jacknife, not the Kevin Nash Jacknife). Kline is undefeated in his three matches in VCW. The main event stemmed from our 8/28/03 show, where, if you recall, Scott Henson and Daniel Makabe took on Chris Mason and Psychotic Kid. Henson and Makabe won after Makabe made PK tap to a Bow-and-Arrow Submission, following a somersault senton by Henson. Since then, PK has been demanding a singles match with Makabe, claiming he would be able to beat him one-on-one, without the presence of all the double teaming. So, nearly a month later, the Kid finally gets his wish: a singles match with Makabe (in the main event, no less). It was an excellent back-and-forth match, with both guys hitting some great moves. PK hit a nutty Leaping Top-rope Rana, which almost got the pin. He also hit a killer Tiger Suplex, and even brought back the Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex, but nothing could get the job done. So Psychotic Kid was unable to beat Makabe as he hoped to do, but given his performance tonight, he surely proved himself to be the same caliber of wrestler as Makabe, and may be awarded a rematch.

<9/15/03 @ 2:57 AM PST>

- We had our mini-show at ASW's Wrestleplex tonight, but with a significantly different card than planned. Both Daniel Makabe and Psychotic Kid were missing in action. And Chris Mason had to leave early to venture to Osoyoos to haul his Backyard Militia partner, Lenny D, back to Vancouver. However, 'twas still a fun show. VBW held a taping at Wrestleplex beforehand, and on that show, "Hot Shit" Scott Henson and Chris Mason held an Exhibition Match (not for the Triple Crown), with Henson winning with a Top-rope DVD that left the crowd in awe. Is this an indication of the result of their upcoming Triple Crown match? IS IT??
- Anyway, back to the show: Ruckus and Scott Idol of VBW made their debuts against the two singles title holders in VCW: Scott Henson and Jason Drake. It was an excellent back-and-forth match that was especially good considering all the competitors were unfamiliar with each other. Henson and Drake squeezed out the win after Drake hit Scott Idol with his Road Dogg punches, but Henson came in with the CRITICAL! to finish the punch sequence. The other match of the night was Jason Drake defending his VCW Canadian Title against Peter Piscopo (who, somehow, is still sneaking his way onto shows despite losing the match for a VCW contract against Lenny D) AND the returning "Insane" Shane Mondo. It was Elimination style, and Piscopo was the first out after the Whattamaneuver by Drake and the Louie Spicolli DVD by Mondo. Piscopo was highly competitive, though, and may have impressed the VCW "Office" with this outing. Mondo went on to dominate Drake, but Drake slipped out of a powerbomb attempt and was able get the win with the Pedigree and retain his title for the record 9th time. Mondo is pressing for a rematch in singles competition.
- Our next show will be sometime next weekend, and these matches are signed so far: Scott Henson & Jason Drake vs. Backyard Militia (Chris Mason & Lenny D).

<9/13/03 @ 2:13 PM PST>

- Quick update: Lenny D will not be able to make it for Sunday's show, so the card will have to be changed. Daniel Makabe vs. Psychotic Kid will still go as planned, and the Peter Piscopo open challenge still stands. However, Chris Mason, now without a tag partner, will be taking on VBW's Dallas Kline in singles competition. "Hot Shit" Scott Henson and Jason Drake are now without a team to face, although VBW's Foul Play (Ruckus & Drake Dredd) may remedy that.
- Also, "Insane" Shane Mondo is confirmed to be in the house on Sunday. Who knows what mischief he will get up to.

<9/13/03 @ 3:46 AM PST>

- Well, the VCW "Office" has worked their magic and procured the ASW Wrestleplex for a semi-supershow this Sunday (September 14th) at 5 p.m. It was going to be a regular event, but when you can get the pro ring, hey, why not go for it. In theory, the card will be the same as was planned for the regular show. The one question mark is the availability of Lenny D, as he may be in Osoyoos at the time. So things may have to be shifted around a bit, but hopefully not.

<9/9/03 @ 12:39 AM PST>

- Two new sections have been added to the site, and can be found to the left: "Moves" and "Music." The Moves Section gives detailed descriptions of every move that has ever won a match in VCW. The moves are in alphabetical order for easy searching. So if you're ever reading results and you see that someone won with the Flippity Flop Mega Driver Alpha (just an example), and you go, "What the fuck is that?" Just check out the Moves Section, and your questions will be answered. The Music Section is a list of every song that has been used for entrance music in VCW. It's not totally complete right now, but it's pretty close. Check it out.

<9/7/03 @ 4:12 AM PST>

- We did a quick show on Friday the 5th, entitled Electric Groove Wagon. First up, Peter Piscopo made him triumphant return to a VCW ring, after 15 month absence. Apparently, most of his time off was spent doing steroids. Peter, who has shed his "Good Enough 2" label, came back to challenge the man who beat him in his only VCW match back in June of '02: Lenny D. Peter definitely had more offense this time, including almost squeaking out the win with his new finisher, The Juice (Inverted facelock to Tombstone), but in the end Lenny picked up the win, but unlike last year, it took not one, but two punched to the face (that busted Peter open) to put him down. This match was for Piscopo's VCW contract, but now that he has lost, Peter's status in VCW is not looking good. Next up was Zeus McFly taking on Psychotic Kid in a Last Man Standing Match. They went evenly back and forth, until PK went a-murderin', nailing McFly with the nastiest Thunder Fire Powerbomb ever, followed by a standing SSP, and a wicked Psycho Driver 2 (Pumphandle Piledriver). That was enough to keep Zeus down for the 10 count. The main was the newfound team, the Backyard Militia (Lenny D and Chris Mason), complete in wifebeaters and camo pants, taking on "Hot Shit" Scott Henson and Zeus McFly (subbing for an absent Jason Drake). The Militia was able to isolate McFly and, for lack of a better term, beat the shit out of him. Eventually, when the tag was made to Henson, Lenny surprised him with a quick inverted DDT out of an Emerald Frosion attempt. Lenny quickly got on a Figure Four Leglock, and it didn't look like Henson would tap, but Chris Mason hit Shooting Star Press onto Henson's legs while in the Figure Four, forcing him to tap out shortly after. This is something of a "payback" win on Lenny D's part, as he was unsuccessful in defeating Henson for the Triple Crown at the last supershow.
- Our next show will be sometime between Friday and Sunday next week.
- Last, but certainly not least: NEW MUSIC VIDEO UP~! It contains the two V-1 Climax Round Robin shows from 5/28/03 and 6/14/03. Smiletimes.

<9/1/03 @ 11:53 PM PST>

- Happy Labour Day!... and stuff.
- Bunch of Multimedia stuff to report today. First off, a new music video is up: the VCW/OCW Funtime Summer Spectacular from August 4th. And it's fun as hell. Many have even called it the "funnest video of the year", and that's saying something.
- Secondly, a ton of links in the Multimedia section were not working. All of the music videos are now fixed. Some of the full matches are up, but others have been taken off until further notice. Don't worry though, because more full matches will be posted soon.
